After continuously jacking up my 2013 Subaru WRX STI I noticed that the jack was causing damage to my undercarriage. Specifically, it was delaminating the spot-welded portion of the lower rocker section of the car, and that is when I had an idea.
I fabricated a simple frame rail guard out of thick 10-gauge steal that protects the underbody from getting damaged from being jacked up in the air.
This is super useful for low riding and lowered vehicles as it does not require the jack to reach actual frame rail. With the frame rail guard you can jack up the car from each corner without worrying about damaging your car.
