As many of you know, powder coating is one of the most durable and long-lasting finishes and it is perfect for various automotive applications. In this video I go over some simple steps that will insure a beautiful powder coating job. For those of you that is not familiar with this method of this paint alternative, powder coating is a process of coating metal with a plastic finish applied in powder form and baked to a fluid state to bond it to the metal surface. I want to dispel the myth that you cannot powder coat successfully from home, powder coating is not a difficult process.
